Description:
CAT D2- 5U15784 Dozer was purchased not operational as a project which was completed over the last 6-7 years.-Original pull start Pilot engine to start the main engine. Wide gauge tracks. Pto at rear. Hydraulics run off front of engine. Comes with blade and rippers. New cutting edge fitted to blade. Rippers are installed by removing blade and swinging tool bars to rear of machine.Work completed:Track frames removed, cleaned/blasted and painted. Tractor was split and final drives removed. Final drives/transmission were resealed. New steering clutches and brakes were installed when machine was appart. Whole machine and attachments were painted new CAT yellow. Pilot engine distributor was rebuilt to get it operational. All new oils/filters. Original operator cushions with new upholstery. Hydraulic cylinders were resealed. Brand new CAT hydraulic hoses. Water pump has been rebuilt. Radiator was striped, cores cleaned and assembled with new gaskets. Machine is in immaculate condition and is fully operational as it was from factory. It is believed to have been built in 1952. Starts and runs well with good fuel and oil pressure.
